From February, Duong Anh Tu will take on the role of Managing Director for the BioMar Viet Uc joint venture in Vietnam. Duong brings extensive commercial experience from the feed and food sector across Asia.
Throughout his career, Duong Anh Tu has focused on managing commercial development, particularly within Vietnam’s animal nutrition industry. His experience spans both local and global companies, including Olam Global Agri and Cargill.
In recent years, BioMar has established a strong global market position in the shrimp feed segment. The company offers innovative grower feed solutions and high-end hatchery feed products that are among the market leaders. This new product portfolio is expected to support Vietnamese farmers facing challenging market conditions.
“We have chosen Duong Anh Tu to lead the next phase of our growth of the shrimp feed business in Vietnam. He has a proven ability to lead the development of innovative solutions for the local markets, and we are sure he will be a strong asset for the organization as well as for the customers,” explains Francois Loubere, Vice President of BioMar Asia.
Duong Anh Tu will succeed Franck Bodin, who was initially hired to launch BioMar’s business in Vietnam and played a key role in establishing the BioMar Viet Uc feed brand locally.
