Yummy Choice, a ready-to-eat food brand from Indomaret, has launched a new culinary innovation in collaboration with Japfa Food. The initiative introduces the “Chicken Premium Series,” featuring premium-quality chicken dishes at affordable prices.
Melvany Kasih, Head of Japfa Food Solutions, explained that their modern technology allows Tori Uma chicken to have a softer and juicier texture with an unprecedented taste. “Menu kolaborasi ini menjadi wujud komitmen kami agar para konsumen dapat menikmati pengalaman kuliner terbaik dengan sensasi baru kenikmatan daging ayam dari Tori Uma,” she stated.
The collaboration has resulted in three special menu items: Chicken Saikoro Kebuli Rice, Japanese Sweet Toridon, and Onigiri Ayam Asap Maranggi. These products are prepared in their central kitchen to ensure consistent flavor. Special Project Director PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret), Burhan Bahar, commented on the launch event held at Menara Indomaret in Jakarta on March 18, 2025.
Initially available at approximately 400 Indomaret outlets in the Jabodetabek area, these menu items will gradually be introduced to other branches across Indonesia. Each dish offers a unique taste experience. Chicken Saikoro Kebuli Rice combines Tori Uma saikoro meat with Middle Eastern spices and aromatic curry-flavored kebuli rice. Japanese Sweet Toridon features savory Japanese-style fried rice with juicy Tori Uma slices and sweet sauce for an authentic taste.
Onigiri Ayam Asap Maranggi blends smoky marinated chicken with traditional Japanese rice balls wrapped in dried seaweed (nori). Customers can find the nearest Indomaret store offering the Chicken Premium Series by visiting Yummy Choice’s Instagram or TikTok @yummychoice.id and following the link in their bio. Additionally, these dishes are available for order through the Klik Indomaret app.
