PT Suri Tani Pemuka (STP), a subsidiary of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA) specializing in integrated aquaculture, has officially obtained the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status from the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Republic of Indonesia. The prestigious certificate was awarded today at the DJBC Headquarters and received by Erwin Djohan, STP’s Chief Commissioner, along with AEO Manager Ibnu Khaidir Afied. This achievement marks an important step for STP in strengthening its position as a world-class company that upholds principles of security, transparency, and compliance with international regulations.

The AEO program is an initiative granted to companies that meet high standards in customs compliance, taxation, and supply chain security. Companies holding this certificate are recognized as meeting the SAFE FoS (Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade) standards from the World Customs Organization (WCO), or international supply chain security standards. With this status, STP gains various privileges including priority services in customs as well as ease and acceleration in export-import processes. Erwin Djohan stated, “This success affirms our commitment to implementing safe, efficient business practices according to international standards. We are optimistic that this achievement will open more expansion opportunities and strengthen global collaboration.”

To obtain AEO status as regulated in PMK 137/2023, STP successfully met seven main criteria: compliance with customs regulations; reliable trade data management; financial eligibility; effective communication and cooperation systems; education programs and security awareness; strong safety and security systems; as well as continuous evaluation and improvement through periodic internal audits. The AEO certification process for STP took nearly two years covering comprehensive evaluation stages from application submission, business process presentation, operational standard verification (SOP), to field reviews by DJBC. On December 17th 2024, STP was officially declared passed and obtained the AEO certificate after receiving approval from all members of the panel forum consisting of representatives from DJBC, ministries, and related agencies.

“We are grateful for the trust given by Ditjen Bea dan Cukai. This status is not just recognition but proof of our commitment since the beginning of the certification process until now while also being a responsibility to continue maintaining compliance standards and service quality. We are ready to contribute in supporting global trade and national economic growth through business practices with integrity,” said Jonny Susanto, Director of STP. With AEO certification, STP is now further strengthened to become a strategic partner within a secure and trusted international trade network aligned with JAPFA Group’s vision to provide sustainable high-quality food solutions.
