Thai Union Group delivers aid worth THB 3.4 million to flood-hit southern Thailand

Thai Union Group PCL, in collaboration with i-Tail Corporation PCL and Thai Union Feedmill PCL, has provided support to communities impacted by severe flooding in Southern Thailand. The companies have distributed food products and daily necessities valued at THB 3.4 million to help those affected by the floods, as well as frontline workers and volunteers involved in relief operations.

The assistance included SEALECT tuna products, SEALECT canned mackerel, ready-to-eat meals, soy milk, drinking water, cooking ingredients, and pet food for dogs and cats. These supplies were delivered through various government agencies and organizations such as the Songkhla Provincial Hall, Federation of Thai Industries (Songkhla Chapter), Prince of Songkla University, Singhanakhon District Office, Department of Industrial Works, Department of Fisheries, Bua Phet Rescue Association, the Goodness Foundation by Dr. Panadda Wongphudee️, and E-Jan.

In addition to supporting local communities, Thai Union has also focused on its employees living in flood-affected areas. The company prepared 4,800 relief kits for staff members affected by the disaster and is providing financial support to assist with home repairs and recovery.

SEALECT, a brand under Thai Union Group, is participating in the “Ruam Jai Thai: Restore the South” initiative organized by the Department of Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce. Through this program, SEALECT is offering selected products at reduced prices to help families manage household expenses and access nutritious food during this period.
