Thai Union Group Public Company Limited has been recognized at the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook Distinction Ceremony. The company received a Top 1% award for its achievements in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
The recognition comes after Thai Union achieved a score of 85 out of 100 in S&P Global’s 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment. This assessment is considered one of the most comprehensive ESG benchmarks globally, evaluating 13,000 companies last year. With this score, Thai Union ranks within the top 1% worldwide in the food products industry.
Adam Brennan, Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer at Thai Union, commented on the achievement: “SeaChange 2030 is our roadmap to ensure healthy oceans and resilient communities. This Top 1% distinction validates the progress our teams are making and strengthens confidence among customers, investors and regulators that we are delivering real, measurable impact.”
The company’s inclusion in the Yearbook was based on its performance in key areas such as climate action, biodiversity, human rights, and responsible supply chains—elements central to its SeaChange 2030 initiative.
