Thai Union Group PCL recently hosted a visit from Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce and a cabinet delegation from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). The event was led by Mr. Shue Chung Chan, Chief Corporate Services Officer, and Ms. Pheinphak Aroonpairoj, Assistant General Manager of International Marketing at Thai Union.
The delegation was headed by Mr. Phichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce of Thailand. Key members from the Lao PDR included H.E. Mr. Malaithong Kommasith, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Mr. Saysana Sayakone, Director General of Trade Negotiations and Economic Cooperation; and Ms. Manivone Vongxay, Director General of Foreign Trade. Representatives from the Thai Chamber of Commerce also accompanied them.
During their visit, the delegation explored Thai Union’s sustainable seafood innovations showcased at their booth in Hall 3 at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani.
