Trident Seafoods has been recognized by Alaska Business magazine as one of the top five employers in the state. The company appears in the magazine’s “Corporate 100” issue for April 2025, which highlights “companies with an Alaska business license ranked by their number of Alaskan employees.”

The seafood processor employs over 3,641 individuals across Alaska, including onshore and at-sea processors, skilled trades professionals, fishermen, and support staff. These employees work in Trident’s ten shore plants and support operations in Alaska, as well as aboard its 27 company-owned vessels. They play a key role in providing fresh wild-caught seafood from Alaska to customers worldwide.

Alaska Business Magazine notes that Trident Seafoods Corporation is the only seafood processor included in the 2025 Corporate 100 list. It ranks fifth with its substantial workforce based in Alaska, which constitutes more than one-third of its total employees.

The inclusion of Trident Seafoods in these rankings highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to investing in and supporting Alaskan communities and people. This recognition also reflects Trident’s long-standing presence in the state over more than fifty years.
