Trident Seafoods has introduced a new product, Wild Alaska Pollock Skinless Loin Portions, now available at Walmart stores across North America. The company says each serving contains 26 grams of protein and is made from whole fillets of Wild Alaska Pollock.
According to Trident Seafoods, the loin portions are versatile and can be prepared in under 25 minutes by pan-frying, air-frying, or baking. The product is also phosphate-free and contains only one ingredient: whole fillets of Wild Alaska Pollock.
Colton Hayden, Retail Sales Director at Trident Seafoods, said, “We wanted to offer consumers a healthy seafood option that is wild caught in the United States, packed with protein and quick and easy to prepare. We were able to collaborate with Walmart and make that come to life.”
Wild Alaska Pollock is described as being caught in the cold waters of Alaska. It is related to cod and known for its lean meat and mild flavor. The fishery for Wild Alaska Pollock is certified as sustainable.
Consumers can use Trident’s online product locator to find these new portions or other products both in-store and online. Recipe ideas are available on Trident’s website and social media channels.
