Trident Seafoods, a company with more than 50 years in the seafood industry, has announced the launch of wellFURst, a new pet supplement brand. The products are made from wild-caught fish sourced from Alaska and aim to promote pet health.

The wellFURst supplements are produced in the United States and use ingredients such as Alaska pollock and salmon. The company emphasizes that each step of production is traceable and sustainable.

“Trident’s wellFURst brand is leading the future of pet wellness by offering a long-desired product for the right situation made the sustainable way,” said Analise Gonzales, Director of Business Development at Trident Seafoods. “We believe in wellFURst’s purpose to not be just another pet brand. We’re here to be the go-to for thoughtful, ingredient-driven pet wellness.”

The supplements come in freeze-dried form to encourage easier acceptance by dogs. Two initial variants are available: “Calming Support,” intended for dogs experiencing stress, and “Seasonal Allergy Support,” aimed at helping dogs with allergies related to seasonal changes.

Additionally, wellFURst will offer fish oils derived from wild Alaska seafood. These oils are minimally processed and provide omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which support skin, coat, and brain health in dogs.

“At Trident, we pride ourselves on providing the very best sustainable, wild-caught Alaska seafood for your family,” Gonzales added. “We are looking forward to extending the same commitment to your pet, one paw at a time. Our mission is to nurture pups with products that reflect the same love and intentionality pet parents bring to every belly rub and walk in the park.”

wellFURst products will be available nationwide at PetSmart stores starting October 1, 2025.

Trident Seafoods operates globally with headquarters in Seattle and employs about 7,700 people annually. The company works with over 2,700 independent fishermen in Alaska and processes many commercial species found in North Pacific waters.
